Job Description

Accountants monitor financial transactions and ensure accuracy and accounting standards. Prepare and analyze financial statements, reconcile accounts, assist internal and external audits, and help with planning and forecasting. The position involves accounting knowledge and software expertise. The Accountant works with cross-functional teams, finds process improvements, and follows industry and regulatory developments.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for

• Prepare and analyze financial records to ensure correctness and compliance.
• Analyze financial data to provide recommendations or design a more efficient use of resources.
• Complete the month-end and year-end closing procedures.
• Prepare financial reports and statements for management review.
• Collaborate with internal and external auditors during audits.
• Reconcile accounts and fix any problems.
• Ensure that financial transactions are appropriately recorded.

Skills and requirements

• Proven accounting experience.
• Strong understanding of accounting concepts and rules.
• Proficient with accounting software and Microsoft Excel.
• Excellent attention to detail and organizational abilities.
